Roda – Parents in Action is delighted to announce the online presentation of the project MOMental – Cross-Border Collaboration for Maternal Mental Health in Crisis Settings, which will take place on 21 January 2026 at 11:00 CET, via the Zoom platform.
The expected duration of the online presentation, including time for questions and discussion, is 60 minutes.
About the project
The MOMental project focuses on strengthening the capacities of organisations and care providers, as well as knowledge exchange in the field of maternal and perinatal mental health in crisis settings. A strong emphasis is placed on international cooperation, exchange of practice-based experience, and the development of educational models and practical tools.
The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
Invitation to participate
Through this presentation, we aim to open space for the involvement of relevant organisations, experts, and other stakeholders interested in contributing to the project. During the meeting, different opportunities for engagement will be presented, depending on participants’ interests, experience, and capacities – ranging from participation in specific activities to longer-term cooperation.
Registration is required. Please register via the following form: https://forms.gle/oUALUENoPn9ULfzV9
Why MOMental matters
MOMental addresses one of the most sensitive yet often overlooked areas of care – the mental health of pregnant women and mothers in crisis contexts. When systems operate under pressure, perinatal mental health is frequently insufficiently recognised, despite the long-term consequences affecting not only mothers and children, but entire families.
Through cross-border collaboration, exchange of practical experience, and the development of educational models and practical tools, the project seeks to strengthen the capacities of organisations and care providers working with these populations in demanding conditions.
Partnership and duration
The MOMental project is implemented from November 2025 to October 2027, in partnership with the
National Institute of Mental Health NUDZ (Czechia),
Birth Forward (Cyprus), and the
Ukrainian Midwives’ Union (Ukraine).
We look forward to your participation and to jointly reflecting on the next steps.
