As you already know, the first Central European Babywearing Conference is going to be held in less than three weeks in Zagreb, Croatia, on Saturday, 21 October 2017.
The conference day (Saturday, 21 October 2017) will be vary exciting, with many speakers (including main speaker Henrik Norholt), roundtable discussion, practical workshops and drumroll please... a baby carrier to take home! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have secured carriers for all medical professionals, doulas and babywearing consultants! Check the link for more information.
In addition to the conference whose program will be very interesting for all people interested in babywearing, we would like to take the opportunity with so many experienced and dedicated babywearing activists gathering in Zagreb to organise a regional meeting.
We would like to invite all babywearing consultants educated through different babywearing schools to join together and share ideas through open discussion.
The babywearing consultant meeting will be held the day after the conference, Sunday 22 October 2017. We will meet at Roda's office, Žerjavićeva 10, Zagreb, at 10 a.m.
The idea of that meeting is to get to know each other better, to brainstorm on what we can do together in order to promote babywearing in our region and to share successful activities which have been done with medical professionals and other caregivers which influence parents opinions. Also, we will ask Bernadett Berecz (Ph.D., Biologist, Educator of and on the managerial board of Beli Buba Babywearing School. Budapest, Hungary) and Henrik Norholt, which are members of IBCICC International Board Certified Infant Carrying Consultant (IBCICC) task force to update us on the initiative and on its progress. Finally, but not less important is to share our impressions from the conference and share ideas related to planing for the next year's event.
